We were lucky enough to join Med Sailing Holidays for 7 days sailing the Adriatic Sea on a round trip from Split!
At first we didn’t know what to expect but by day 7 of sailing holiday in Croatia, we were completely blown away and this exceeded our expectations.
Meeting the other guests – Within an hour of being in the marina I had walked around with my bottle vodka and a shot glass jumping on board other Med Sailing Holiday yacht charters – friendships were made! The music was pumping, the drinks were flowing and there was an instant connection! Meet the crazy bunch of Aussies & my new Kiwi friend!
We sailed for 7 days to the most beautiful islands I have ever seen! Where we drank, ate, swam, socialised and partied like you wouldn’t believe!
All Sail Croatia skippers on board our yacht were beyond helpful in recommending the best places in Croatia to eat & drink! I tried foods I’d never wanted to try before and absolutely loved.
The 7 day sailing holiday were spent learning to sail our own yacht, lying in the sun, swimming in the clearest waters, exploring new islands and what they had to offer!
Jumping off the green caves was a highlight of our island hopping holiday and bucket list experience for me! 12m high into crystal clear waters! Something I had always wanted to do and Med Sailing Holidays made it possible!
Tip – close your legs before hitting the water! You’ll thank me later
All our sail Croatia crew and guests on board got on so well, creating friendships and having one hell of a good time in our Croatia island holiday!
After returning to New Zealand we jumped straight online and booked another week of luxury sailing in Croatia for September of next year! See you soon Geoff
